I’ve been receiving some mail:
Adam:
“Just emailing you regarding a new mod that was released Sunday 20th Sept 2009 called Korsakovia (HL2). It’s the fourth instalment of projects designed by Dan Pinchbeck, creator of the award winning Dear Esther (HL2).”

Smurf:
“Mideast Crisis 2’s (C&C3) site has a HUGE update including a detailed postmortem on our first release, along with many screenshots and details of the new UN Peacekeepers faction.”

Phillip:
“I have started adding new sites [to Valve Community].”

Matt:
“I was wondering if you would be interested in being affiliated with my more recent project, Unconfessional Design?
Its a Starcraft 2 Modding community I’m making.”

At the end of April I was asked to partake, for the first time, in an upcoming CNCNZ Roundtable Discussion, number nineteen overall and the second time they’ve done a Command & Conquer Modding Special. Also on the panel for this edition were Banshee, Mastermind, Koen, Blbpaws, Mighty BOB!, jonwil, Smurf Bizkit and Golan.
CNCNZ.com’s own news post is here and the actual Roundtable itself is here.
The questions were devised by Banshee from Project Perfect Mod and covered the recently released Red Alert 3 Mod SDK aswell as some more general questions regarding C&C modding and specific mods.
I come off as a tad harsh, but I don’t have a high opinion of how the RA3 SDK was handled (specifically the huge delay considering it was originally said it would be available at launch) and I’m not really a fan of RA3 either.

In this month’s issue of British magazine Total PC Gaming (#18) they have a double-paged spread in their mod section on Red Alert which includes short text pieces and a screenshot of seven Red Alert 2 mods and text-only pieces on one map each for Red Alert, Red Alert 2 and Red Alert 3.
My mod, It Came From Red Alert! was one of the mods included.
