Welcome to the second of Games Modding’s News Roundups. It was suggested in the previous roundup that these posts would be bi-weekly but the flow of material is such that a shorter period of time was allowed to pass before this update. There’s a lot of great modding happening out there and hopefully this post will be able to direct you to something you like.

Hi, my name is Unreal1ty, I am from Frankfurt, Germany and I am the Project Lead and Lead Designer for the Half-Life 2 total conversion mod BlackSector: Subject H.O.R.I.Z.O.N.

‘Research and Development’ mod for Half-Life 2: Episode Two is awesome. If you’ve got Source; this is a must play. Other people have been calling it a puzzle mod, i call it an action mod (with the odd puzzle).

You care about the environment, don’t you? Of course you do. In fact I am sure that you carefully separate the different types of rubbish and recycle as much waste as you can. Good for you, you are an example to us all.
